Director of Volunteer Training - Tournament Business Affairs

We presently have an opportunity for a Director of Volunteer Training - Tournament Business Affairs. Responsible for implementing plans to unify volunteer training across all tournaments and enhance/improve the Fan First experience; sharing learning solutions to elevate volunteer training and utilize a "train the trainer" model; and developing programs to create "raving fans" who are passionate advocates in every tournament community, excited to volunteer, and embrace the Live Under Par vision. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field. 10 years of experience in learning and development, training/volunteer programs, or related field.  Experience in the hospitality/service industry a plus. Experience in management preferred. Proficient writing, analytics and public speaking / presentation abilities and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experiencerequired. Extensive travelrequired  Responsibilities:  Share learning solutions to transfer knowledge, build skills and create consistency across our network of volunteers. Utilize a "train the trainer" approach to operationalize the volunteer program. Implement a comprehensive suite of new and existing development solutions for volunteers to deliver a consistent, high-quality PGA TOUR experience for players, fans and partners. Incorporate PGA TOUR player feedback into volunteer training. Instill the Fan First message in all learning solutions and develop ways for volunteers to embrace/identify with the TOUR brand and what it means to Live Under Par.  Partner with business leaders across the TOUR to enhance the volunteer experience and develop programs to recruit new volunteers. Create platforms for volunteer recognition for the TOUR and tournament staff, and develop methodology to track, evaluate and enhance the platforms. Collaborate with tournament staff and leadership to identify ways to increase volunteer recruitment and retention. Work directly with tournament staff on planning, coordination, logistics and execution of the Volunteer Training Initiative. Collaborate on the development of a communication platform for volunteers. Contribute to department operations including, but not limited to, the following:  o PGA TOUR Volunteer Appreciation Programo Development of volunteer portaloRecruitment andretention of volunteerso On-site tournament activitieso VIP newslettero Volunteer socialchannels Work on special projects or other duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
