N Relocation? Y Position Type Management JOB SUMMARY Position has responsibility for the management of multiple retail outlets within a single hotel location.
Establishes the merchandise and sales plans for the stores, coordinates buying and pricing efforts for appropriate categories in conjunction with Corporate Retail Services, oversees the development of product and physical layout of the stores and establishes retail goals for the property.
Directs and works with retail management and hourly employees to successfully execute retail operations, continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the outlets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the retail or related professional area.
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Fashion Merchandising, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the retail or related professional area.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Managing Department Operations and Budgets Supervises and manages employees.
Manages all day-to-day operations.
Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
Monitors actual and projected sales of outlets on a daily basis.
Manages areas of operations to budget by reviewing operating statements, budget worksheets and payroll progress reports.
Manages department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
Manages department controllable expenses, physical SKU inventories and cost of sales.
Ensures all retail records are maintained on a timely basis, including sales reports, invoices, end-of period reports, etc.
Monitors adherence to all credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates.
Oversees retail outlets appearance and maintains visual merchandising standards and impact.
Establishes standardized merchandise, display and pricing standards for select categories in all stores, while addressing the individual needs of each of the market segments to maximize revenue opportunities.
Monitors the inflow of ordered materials and the maintenance of current materials.
Manages all inventory control.
Purchases merchandise to be used or sold by organization.
Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
Ensures that regular on-going communication is happening in all areas of responsibility to create awareness of business objectives.
Develops and implements strategic plans for retail store operations addressing the different market segments and product assortment issues for each store, as applicable.

Additional Responsibilities Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
The salary range for this position is $69,000 to $97,000 annually.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
